Applicants process: What happens next?

Once you've applied to University you may feel a little in the dark as to what happens next. Use these pages to guide you through every step of the process and if you need to know anything else use the forum or Ask Us.

Offer conditions

I've received a letter from Edge Hill saying that I have been made an offer, but I don't know what the offer conditions are.

If you gave UCAS your email address, you should receive an email advising that changes have been made to your application record. If you did not provide an email address, UCAS will send you a letter advising you to check your record online at http://www.ucas.com/students/track/.

By logging into UCAS Track, you’ll be able to see the current status of all your UCAS applications.

What next?

What happens once I've had confirmation of my place at Edge Hill University?

You will shortly receive a Welcome Pack of information regarding your enrolment and what to bring with you when you enrol. You will also receive information from the Students Union about the Freshers’ Week activities.

Freshers’ Week starts on Monday 19th September, however please be aware that you will be required to come in and enrol before this date. Check your booklet for your specific enrolment date and time.

How do I apply for financial support?

If you haven’t already applied for funding you will need to complete the online application form on the Student Finance website.

By completing and submitting this form your financial assessment will be processed and you will receive a FINAL NOTIFICATION LETTER outlining what funding you will be entitled to. You will need details of your parents’ income/ or the income of you and your partner if you have one.

You must bring your FINAL NOTIFICATION LETTER with you to your enrolment session.

You are advised to apply for funding as soon as possible to ensure that you receive your first payment at the start of term. Late finance applications may mean that your grant and loan payments are delayed.
