Edge Hill Outdoor Club organises another top quality event! Last weekend we spent a fun-filled action packed weekend white water rafting. We went as a group who has no experience, no equipment but we made it through with only a few small injuries! Only joking!
We entered the British championships in white water rafting, which does sound a little extreme but the best part of it is we didn’t even come last. We actually did much better than that the girl’s team did really well and the boys were pretty good too!
The weekend was made up of time trails, head to heads, endurance races etc. Considering we were complete beginners it was hard work but it was a lot of fun. We got a free party and free food – were students so we can’t complain! It was one excellent cheap camping experience which I invite you all to join us next year!
