Third Year Primary Ed

Ok third year it does really mean scary stuff! Well not quite but I do seem to be quite worried with all the stuff I have on at the moment. I think the key word is organisation! I have fewer assignments in this year and already finished some of my modules which is quite nice but even so, the intensity seems to have increased. On top of that I have my QTS Skills tests, which Toma wrote a blog on.

QTS Skills tests are tests you have to do in your third year – you must do them to become a as part of your qualified teacher status – I have already done my ICT and English so only Maths to go! Don’t fret if you’re on a teaching course they really are nothing to worry about. You get as many chances at them before third year is over but best to be prepared and pass them first time – it’s a weight off your mind. Don’t worry for now!

Apart from that you don’t have lots of work in third year but the quality of the work is expected to be so much higher than your previous years. That’s why I am preparing early – or at least I think I am preparing early. Best keep on with the preparation – three assignments and a lot of research to do before the year is over! Viki J x
