First Climbing Meet

Monday was on our first climbing meet – which was a week or two ago and it was amazing! The Edge Hill Outdoor Club trained over around 15 new people to the club and still getting plenty new members trying out something different!
We took a trip in the Student Union minibuses down to Awesome Walls where some of us learnt to climb and some of us continued to climb! A huge success with the climbing for the Edge Hill Outdoor Club! Better news is that the Club has just received a grant of the Student Union for over £600 to spend on brand new equipment and gear! Exciting stuff for the club!
At the moment we have sooo many things going on. Kayaking is happening every week on a Thursday evening – which anyone can try out! Climbing is still on continuing mainly at weekly intervals! We had a successful white water rafting trip! We are having our first social this Wednesday night – meeting at Sports Bar 7pm – Neon is the wear! And the club still has more planned, oh so exciting!
